This is a book I made in a class at Pennsic, summer 2013, given by Meisterin Katarina Helene. It is a form of coptic stitch that requires two needles. We also stitched the integrated endbands, and made clasps of braided leather and a tiny brass pin. She has quite a stash of materials, so I chose purple waxed linen to bind with and black and white leather for the clasp. The boards have rounded edges and are treated with a wax finish.
