OK, so this one came from a typo. I'm aggravated that different attempts to have my geographically distributed team keep up with each other have not produced the desired results. Basically, Sharepoint SUCKS. I've been trying to think of ways to automagically capture what they're doing - I don't want to create a new reporting burden, but I need to know what's going on. I think the memory palace platform idea is one way; Nova's long term vision for Twine might be another - but I think he leaked and launched too soon. The honeymoon may be over for Twine, the only cool thing about it now is that I can bookmark w/o having to enter tags like on Delicious. SO, given that company policy blatantly says not to except privacy on company owned/provided equipment, couldn't I capture, by profiling, auto-categorization, entity-extraction methods, meme's from everything they produce on said equipment and RSS it or something? Obviously opens a host of info security problems, but it might be interesting to consider. A tag cloud of what's important to my team from day to day. Focused, pithy. Could be based on the HR hierarchy to minimize "need to know" and "info overload" considerations.
